The Second Annual Sailing Anarchy Sport Boat Regatta will be held this September 24-26 and is hosted by the Coronado Yacht Club. Bigger and better than last years hugely successful show, this regatta is a must make weekend for all sport boat enthusiasts.        Sailing Anarchy Sportboat Regatta
South San Diego Bay is again the venue in 2010 with its smooth waters and ocean breeze providing excellent racing conditions. Last year a large fleet of FT 10s participated and this year we are planning on having 5 of the new FT 7.5s entered as well. Note! Currently the boat can be seen at Pier 21, Viaduct and people are welcome to come and have a look while the boat is been assembled and still out of the water.

Delivery of 15 new Flying Tiger 7.5m models will take place in China later this month. The happy new owners are several Maritime Academies whose lucky cadets will learn sailing and have an opportunity to sharpen their team skills. Sailing in China is growing rapidly with many clubs forming. Flying Tiger Boats is pleased to play an important role in the promotion of sailing in China.

The first two Flying Tiger 7.5s offered for purchase in the US will arrive in San Diego next week with sea trails to begin shortly thereafter.

List price of the FT 7.5 is $43,500 (FOB Xiamen) and includes a complete set of sails from Neil Pryde. The standard mainsail and jib are built of Aramid and the asymmetrical spinnaker is of Nylon. Freight and duty are additional and average approximately $1,800 per boat landing in San Diego, California.

The new FT 7.5 further achieves the same performance distinction of its bigger sister while offering a yacht that is equally suited for high level racing or single-handed daysailing. With one design rules in effect and legs in hiking, the FT 7.5 will make the old feel young and the young feel invincible.
